Going into the renovation, we knew there would be issues due to the age of the home, but whenever an issue arose, Dan helped to explain it and then fix it with very little worry or stress for me. Because of the excellent job that Dan did on the kitchen, I decided to go ahead with renovations of the two upstairs bathrooms, which were also completely gutted. “I converted my attached garage to a family room and built a separate detached garage. Hartranft Design handled EVERYTHING including the architectural services, installation of a vented fireplace, a wall of custom bookshelves, and a desk area. There were no surprises in the budget although I made changes as the process went along and Dan was able to work with me. In fact, because of his experience, he is able to make really nice suggestions in terms of what is trending and how things will work once finished. After this process, I used Hartranft Design to update my master bath (gutted down to the studs) and then my children’s bath. That’s my best recommendation – that I continue to use Dan’s company. “My Kitchen remodel went great – from start to finish. Even before I gave Dan the job, he spent a lot of time with me upfront explaining what he would do and giving me some great ideas to think about. Once I decided to go with him, we finalized the paperwork and he gave me a schedule of events on what would happen in week one, week two, etc. Dan stayed right on target with this schedule. Dan will keep you informed at all steps of the project and is a great communicator. In terms of pricing, Dan was actually the least expensive of the quotes I received, was very understanding of budget constraints, and was willing to suggest options to stay within certain parameters.
